Does anyone on the list have any Donovans that settled at one time or another in Washington County, Maine? This is the eastern most County in Maine. I am looking for a John Donovan who settled in Jonesport about 1790. He was born in Ireland but I don't know where. He married Anna Hicks MacDonald and they had at least one child named Thomas. This Donovan line stayed there until my mother was born then moved a little west into Penobscot County. Would love to share more info if anyone has a possible link..... Diana
