    3. I wonder if the birth record I have for a Timothy Donovan from Clonakilty could be your guy. He was baptized on 26 December 1842 in the parish of Immaculate Conception, although it may not have been so named as if that date. His parents were James Donovan and Mary Hart, my distant unlce and aunt. Timothy was, then, a distant cousin. Sponsors were John Donovan and Catherine (illegible) possibly Cummins or Collins. Although I do not know when or even if he emigrated, I do know that his brother, James, who was born in 1846, did indeed emigrate to Massachusetts and settled in Georgetown, Essex, Massachusetts.
