Martha - I know what you mean about time allowing. I'm doubtful there's a connection here, but I'll give you what I do have. I just got this copy from the LDS library. I have my greatgrandfather, John Donovan m Honora Leyhane in the district of Bantry in the Chapel of Kilchrohane - marriage date - Jan. 30, 1864. Listed as John's father is Denis Donovan and listed as Honora's father is Murty Leyhane. I do know that they had a child, Denis Donovan who came to America, NYC area, became a fireman and died in a fire within his first year stateside. It's probably a very loose connection, but you never know. I also am aware that my uncle Tom holds the middle name Joseph and it's just an intuitive hunch there could be a shirtail relation here.
