Hi-- I got your message on the Donovan list from rootsweb. My grandfather was Denis Donovan, also from Skibbereen area, and family tradition holds that one of his uncles might have come over via Canada and then ended up in Massachusetts, near Boston.I haven't verified that. However, my question to you is, are you sure the name of the village, or parish, is Drummig? There is a village called Drumbeg near Skibb..perhaps Drummig is a spelling variation? -----Original Message----- From: Wlfndl@aol.com <Wlfndl@aol.com> To: DONOVAN-L@rootsweb.com <DONOVAN-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Saturday, January 06, 2001 4:45 PM Subject: [DONOVAN-L] Re: DONOVAN-D Digest V00 #99 :I have Donovans who settled when Lawrence first stated out. 1845-7.
