    1. [DONOVAN-L] given what I know about a Donovan...
    2. Phil Miesle
    3. Hello, Can anyone give me a "probability of success"? I'm tracing back my Irish roots, and I know that my g-g-grandfather was one Michael Donovan. A secondary source indicates that he was born ca. 1830 and immigrated to Wisconsin within 10 years of 1860. I also know his parent's names (Patrick and Mary Colbert). He was married twice (marriage to his first wife *might* have been in Ireland), though I only have a good wedding date/location for his second wife (my g-g-grandmother). So, given that I know not a whole lot of specifics, how likely am I to find "firm" dates for him and his parents? I have the advantage of living in Ireland, but without knowing even as much as a Parish I will probably be looking for a needle in a haystack... Thanks, :-Phil __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Make a great connection at Yahoo! Personals. http://personals.yahoo.com
