My research indicates that there was a MURPHY family in the Donner Party and that one or more of them survived the ordeal. Can anyone tell me more about them? Hi everyone I want to welcome you all to the new Donner Party Mailing list. Since this list is new, there aren't really any archives as of yet. There are a few mails there, but no data. I have always had an extreme interest in the Donner Party history, my children are related to a few from that party (through my husband). I will begin to gather some of the information I have to send to the list. Also, I will be putting together a website to go along with our list.
