It is spelled also Donlan on many records. My family now spells it Donlon. Julius lived in Louisville, kentucky ky and married Anna Veronica Horan. I have no clue what he looked like, I would really love a picture or more inforamtion on him. I dont know julius's dads name because he either left the family or died. by the 1900's he is living with William and Amelia Mcnally in louisville, ky. Him and his seiblings still have the last name donlon. I assume Amelia McNally is his mother remarried. I know his mothers Maden name was hero and obviously her first is Amelia. I am Attaching a photo of Anna Vernoica Horan decause she is Julius's wife and the photo is the closes thing to a blood Donlon.
