I have a Michael Donlon., Father John Donlon imm to NY approx 1844. Michael Donlon fought for the Union in the Civil War. 4 other brothers also fought for the Union. Two were captured an held by the Confederates. This lead to the rumor that two fought for the Confederacy and three for the Union. Michael left and went west supposedly Ill. I am now trying to trace him and two other brothers. Grant
