Then if one takes the data I posted re Philly... Looks like they were very well connected as some are buried in Derry Cathedral as there is no g/yard attached...now that takes clout! As with most names one has to take into account variants..mine used Swan/Swann within the same family unit which doesn't help either. Anyway, the point is that often one needs to move sideways to other families in order to move one step forward..just like pieces on a chessboard, many people don't/won't!
