Thanks Boyd Yes it's on Google and opens as PDF there but not if I select to download, "open with" Adobe as a PDF. I have a few Octet streams that I'd like to open. As for authors mine is H P Swan who wrote a few books "H.P. Swan is an important part of Inishowen. He wrote many books about here and his travels. By one of those weird coincidences of genealogy, I was actually loaned an original copy of this book a few months ago by a descendant of the author.
