Regarding the position of Muineagh and Ballyheerin, they are a fair way north of Kilmacrenan and on a different road north from Letterkenny. They are around Mulroy Bay in Fanad, north of Milford, then north of Kerrykeel, then past Rosnakill and Kindrum. No doubt you will see this on a detailed map of northern Donegal. Ballyheerin is a small hamlet; Muineagh is the old townland name of the area. I travelled those lanes from England last month as part of my own family lived in Muineagh in the 1800s, a delightful part of Donegal. Alex
