I am searching for ancestors of my 2 gr grandfather, Henry Black, b. 6/8/ 1837 in PA. He died 8/5/1881 in Whitehall, Greene Co., IL. Family Lore states that he was born in Indiana Co., PA and the family is Scots-Irish. Either his parents or grandparents could have come from N. IRE, probably Ulster or Donegal. He married Catheron Jane Silcox in IL. Also searching for the ancestors of my 5 gr grandfather, Christopher Irvine (Irwin, Erwin) b. 1725 in IRE - Derg Bridge. His grandfather, John Irvine was a blacksmith in Londonderry. Have seen pages of the Boyd Book, which does tell of them, but not enough info.
