I see there is a tradition that the New Jersey Haggerty families came from Donegal, and I was hoping someone here might have some information. New Brunswick, in Somerset (later Middlesex) county had an Irish 'colony' arrive in 1814 & 16 of about 50 people, including Haggertys. My ancestor Daniel first shows up about 1830, and has family ties with both a Patrick and Michael Haggerty. Michael could be a brother; both named children Charles, James, Rosanna, Elizabeth, and Mary. The name Rosanna shows up many times, and there seems to connections between them and later immigrants to the area. I'd love to take them home. Can anyone help? Mahalo and take care, Kevin
