Hi All, I just wanted to let everyone know that I have made a change to our list messages. If you notice, when you receive a message from the list it has DONEGAL as the subject line. I have changed that subject line to DONEGALEIRE... so if you receive a message from this list, it will be identified as Donegaleire. When I first applied for this list, there were absolutely no resources for Donegal. However, in the last few years I am really pleased to see that there have been several lists, websites and other resources added to Rootsweb for Donegal. Due to this increase in activity, it has become difficult to distinguish which resource messages are coming from, so hence I will append our messages with DONEGALEIRE, to distinguish it from the other Donegal utilities. This increase in resources enhances everyone's chances of finding that elusive information available in Donegal. It is so exciting to see the whole world being opened up to us via the computer. I hope everyone finds this change helpful. And if you haven't posted to the list in awhile, this might be a good time to identify your surname inquiries. Remember when sending queries to the list, DO NOT hit REPLY. Always start and original message and in the subject line put some clues as to what your query is about. For any new folks, I will be sending a separate email with a query as an example. The more info you can provide, the more successful you will be.
