Helen, this is a long shot, but is there anything in the naturalization records of Delaware Co. about a James WRAY? He was born October 1797/8 @ Co. Donegal, but I've never been able to find out what town or village. He eventually settled in Philadelphia, where he spent the rest of his life, but I don't know if he went there directly or possibly went elsewhere first. I know he was in Phil. by 1826, as that's when he married. Are there any WRAYs listed? If so, it would be worth my while to get a copy of that census and see if his brother, who came a year after James.
