Hi all, I am Sherrie Heyse, Cincinnati Ohio and I am brand new to the list. I am uplifted by the outpouring of get well remarks to Lindel. I am adding my own even though I have not had the good luck to have corresponded with Lindel. I am always amazed at the "points on the globe" that genealogy friends connect. I have not done my genealogy for a couple of years and so am getting "back in the saddle" so to speak. Over the years, my genealogy buddies have been wonderful people and I have met and corresponded with quite a few. Lindel appears to have been a link for many on the list and quite supportive. I know she must be a wonderful person and my prayers are sent out to her for her full recovery. Again, I hope to correspond with many of you and try to be as helpful as possible. Researching: Doohan, Durning, Wilkinson in Faymore, Creeslough, Co. Donegal Ireland. I am sure the net will include more names. Dear Sherrie. Failte (welcome) to the list. Your thoughts will mean much to Lindel. The people on the Donegal List are a great group of people, so willing to help others. I have sent the second batch of letters to Merle so she can let Lindel know. Lindel has helped so many people and while doing it she has always done it with grace and kindness. I feel blessed to be part of this wonderful List to see all the outpouring of love and concern for Lindel. Hi All, A number of suggestions are flying by the group so here goes: Home address: Lindel Bragg 147 Torquay St Kaikoura New Zealand Hospital Address: I personally think the home address would be a better option and the family could get any cards etc down to Lindel but some may not agree so: Lindel Bragg Ward 12 Christchurch Hospital Christchurch New Zealand Chocolates or Flowers: Heaven forbid if we all sent something. The mind boggles (how do you foreigners handly that word?), May I suggest that all who want to do something send a card to the home address. Merle(Mum), Don, Liam, and Conor plus the neighbours would all get a big thrill out of that as well. The family would then get the cards to Lindel. I will arrange a bunch of flowers to go in with Vaughan from all of us "The Donegaleire Group" as soon as possible. Muriel has notified May McClintock thank you Muriel.
