I also have collapsed lungs - the base of each, I mean! There is some pneumonia in the left lung. However, I am slowly starting to feel better, and are being well looked after here at the hospital. I still have some more treatment and surgery to 'look forward' to, but hopefully that will be all over soon. I managed to get 2 hours out of the hospital yesterday to spend some time with my children, husband and mother in the 'real world'. I'm still recovering from that, but without doubt, it was worth it. Aside from spending time with my family, I went to an Internet café and accessed my email account. I am totally overwhelmed by your emails - words don't fail me often, but how do I express my sincere thanks to all of you, for your wishes and prayers? I have only been able to read a few of the emails so far - I had no time to sit and read them all unfortunately, but once I am home, I will. What I have read has raised my spirits so much - I didn't realise there were so many of you who cared so much for me! This hobby/obsession of ours and this DonegalEire List have to be the absolute best. Thank you also to Carol Queen for allowing this VERY off-topic thread to continue - you're wonderful too! I read the email about sending me cards and cash, plus gifts. I love to receive your cards, but I'm not comfortable with the thought of receiving cash. Of course it would always be handy, but we are doing okay and your prayers and support are really more than enough! Finally, thank you all for the flowers.
