Can anyone throw any light on where Brachey is, please? >> Alex, You've already received a suggestion from Muriel about the four Brockagh townlands, so I'd like to add my suggestion for the four Breaghy townlands. One of the Breaghy townlands is in Donaghmore civil parish, which is currently in the Diocese of Derry. I don't know about 1794, however. So you have at least seven possibilities. If you'd like more specific locations of these various places, drop me a line. Naturally, it would be nice to also have some other hints as to the part of the county where the mystery townland might be located <gr>.
