I am very interested in two Doherty families. Neil DOHERTY born abt 1820 from Legnahoory, married Sarah MCHUGH also from Legnahoory. Children Rose Ann, Neil, Catherine, Patrick & Sarah Jane came to Australia approx 1850. Michael born 1863 remained in Donegal. We have no info on Michael. Hugh DOHERTY born abt 1824 from Ballyheerin, married Bridget SWEENEY from Ballyheerin. Son Raphus born 1860 remained in Donegal.
