Hello List Thanks to those that replied to my query on Portnason.I am also looking for information on Susanah (Susan) Montgomery ( nee Hetherington) .my g/g/grandmother who worked as matron at the Ballyshannon workhouse prior to 1865.I believe that the workhouse is close to Portnason.
