Hi all, I am planning to go to Southwestern Donegal in 2005 and want to stay at a town that I can use as a home base that I can travel to and fro from. Preferably as close to Corr(Cor) in Lettermacaward on the Geeebarra Bay as possible. I'm not asking for an exact dwelling that might not be ethical for this site's purpose but looking at maps I am at a lost. Glenties or Dungloe seem feasible but is there a town closer that has accomodations? Just a reminder this time last year I posed a question about my then unknown grandmother's birthplace in Donegal. Through all the help I received from you wonderful people I found not only Corr (Cor) her birthplace but also found Sweeney cousins we never knew we had living not 10 miles from me across the river in Philadelphia. I've kept those e-mails as keepsakes for they are a reminder of the intelligence, goodness, incitefulness and helpfulness that make up a good portion of the members of this newsgroup. Being Irish I tend to speak in hyperbole but my appreciation of your help will never be exaggerated. As we say here in New Jersey, "Youse guys are the greatest!"
