It's located at the southwestern end of the Barnesmore Gap, a lovely passage through the mountains along the Lowerymore River. There is no townland of Barnesmore - it seems to be generally located across a boundary between the townlands of Keadew Upper and Cullionboy, all within Donegal civil parish. The vast townland (nearly 10 square miles) of Tawnawully Mountains lies a bit to the north of Barnesmore. Pete Schermerhorn, in the glorious Berkshire hills of western Massachusetts
