Jim, Thanks for the notice. My brother is going to request the 37 marker test with Family Tree DNA http://www.familytreedna.com/ with the Wilkinson Surname Project. Although our Wilkinson's emigrated from County Donegal, the family tradition is that we are of English descent. That's why we chose the Wilkinson Surname Project rather than the Irish. We are hoping to eventually find a Wilkinson match in England . Our current tree goes back to about 1740 and my brother is a direct male-to-male descendant. I am curious to see some individual experiences from people using the DNA.
