Do you know anything about these 2 places? >> Isabelle, Croaghcross townland includes much of the eastern portion of the village of Portsalon, including the school and church. Moross townland comprises the entire bulbous peninsula into the bay, just southwest of Tawny village. So walking from Moross to Croaghross would be the same as "walking across the entire peninsula, from western shore to eastern shore" <gr>. About four miles, maximum.
