Hi everyone Sorry if you receive this twice. My wifes mother was born 1907,possibly Newtoncunningham,at least that's what her oldest son told me. None of the other members of the family seem to know for sure. Her father was Hugh Quinn a Scutcher,and probably moved around a lot because the children seem to have been born in different places,one Margaret was born in Ardstraw Co.Tyrone,another Daniel in Manorcunningham. He was said to have come from Raphoe or Convoy. A lot of the records were lost in the Clydebank Blitz in 1941,and now my wife and her family would like to know EXACTLY where she was born. Would there be an index of births for Donegal and/or Tyrone for the dates around 1907 ?? I would be grateful for any help in this matter. Thanks Frank McGonigal Ont.Canada

Hi Frank, The LDS Family History Centers have the Irish Birth Indexes on microfilm. The 1906-1907 Index of Births is on FHL Microfilm # 101071. Once you have looked up her name in the index it will give you a vol. # and page #. Good luck in your search. Beanachtai, Margaret (Mairead)
