While it is referred to as a street atlas, it covers the rural areas in great detail. All minor roads and other features such as rivers, lakes, forests etc. are included but best of all, the townlands are clearly listed. Scales are one and one third inches to the mile and two and two thirds inches to the mile so it does not show townland boundaries. I cannot be certain if it covers every townland but there seems to be an impressive list and there is an extensive index at the back. Defi! nitely worth the price for anyone researching those areas and wanting to locate townlands.
