Janice, He was my Grandmothers teacher and they met in Detroit Michigan or Windsor Ontario at a book signing or such sometime after she came to Canada, so after 1926 probably in the 30s She walked up to him and he just said "Agatha Griffith" my uncle repeated this to me a number of years back. My mother often mentioned him living in the Glass House at the end of town and his brother stayed with my GF for a very short time at their house in Mountcharles. All from my Mom.
