I recently have became aware of a new family history society that is called the Foyle Family History Society or FFHS. It has been organized in Derry City, N. IRE. It is a fully formed organization, with a board, membership, monthly meetings and is associated with the Northern Ireland Family History Society. Membership dues for FFHS are £ 24.00 per annum. The meetings will be held at Derry Central Library on the first Monday of each month at 7.30 pm. Discussions so far have been about creating an archive of records for members and meeting content for future meetings.
