    3. Hello Boyd & List. I have gone into the Fermanagh Gold archives, and copied and pasted the relevant portions of the postings on the above problem. Sorry that they take up a bit of space. I have tried to edit them heavily. Hopefully this might help some people. AND I need all the clues that I can get, as this is a big issue for me, with lots of rejects. Ray in oz. Hi Cliff Have you received my off line reply? Comcast don't like us down here in NZ and Australia and block our mail! Murray Christchurch New Zealand >From the List's great Admin: Good time to mention it folks. I didn't know that comcast blocked your mail from OZ. My default mail server is comcast.net. >From Cliff: I've got Comcast and have had no problems receiving emails from down-under. It may be that the recipients have some other software on their cpu's that is the culprit :-) >From the original poster: Hi Cliff I thought that it was just me, but I've raised it on other lists and many down here in both NZ and Oz are affected. I communicate regularly with a number of Comcast users and between us we have managed to get Comcast to unblock the mail a number of times, but it rapidly re-blocks it. Replying to a message with the same subject header repeated seems to trigger the re-block. Others report the same issue. >From a different poster: based in Oz: I also attempted a reply to Murray to his Email address and was bounced. My message was not through Comcast. I'd suggest that the fault lies with his provider. Barry Melbourne, Australia I used to have that problem when emailing a distant cousin in the USA who used Comcast. It was something to do with the IP-address my emails were being assigned through the Internet Service Provider (ISP) (optusnet.com.au). It was a little more complicated then that, but beyond my understanding. I understand that due to the way things happen the dynamic IP of my emails caused Comcast's SPAM filters to suspect that the IP address associated to my emails was a possible SPAM source and so blocked my emails. You have to somehow get your ISP to get Comcast to take the IP address off their blocked list. However, because some cable connections generate new dynamic IP at least every 3 months, this could be an ongoing issue. My US cousin had an additional email address other then Comcast and we have been using that for some time now without been blocked. Bernard Brisbane, Australia My (Ray's)contribution on Ferm. Gold: Just to support Murray on this to both Cliff and Don --- I have occasionally tried to REPLY to your list e-mails off-list; and have had them immediately rejected. I hadn't made the comcast connection until Murray mentioned it. Just thought that it was MY problem; and gave up on each occasion. BUT occasionally my messages have got through to your personal e-mail addresses. Cannot recall now if I might have changed the subject line for them or not. Final thought from Ray: MY internet provider is also optusnet; so it seems that what Bernard has written above, must have considerable bearing on the situation.
