My g-grandmother was Margery Doherty, and g-grandfather's John McGonigle's sister Mary married a Dougherty in Donegal, while sister Eleanor (who had emigrated in 1818 with two of their brothers) married a William Dougherty in Adams Co., Pennsylvania.
