Frank, and All, I do not think there are any problems with the website set-up by Alex. At first I thought that he was working via "Ancestry .com" and they had a new gen type user site available to researchers out side of Rootsweb. But not so, he has established a Google Account where one can set-up a website for just about anything you wish (within limits), in fact I set-up a site for our golf league members a couple of years back, it is a private site, meaning that one must be authorized to enter the site. Google websites are very easy to set-up and operate all you need is a Google Account, which most have already, if you have "G-mail" you have a Google Account. All things aside Alex has done a fine job of establishing links to outside resources and notes on how to tackle basic genealogy research. His site is mainly directed towards US genealogy researchers e.g USGenWeb. I suppose he will expand his links in time and any website takes a lot of work to put it in operation.
