It would seem that this household in 1911 had the COOTS family....William being deceased, Martha Anne COOTS was the Head of the family with a son and 2 daughters living there. The other family headed by David COOTS is unknown. Trying to obtain the birth documents of the 2 children to locate the parent's names, then perhaps find the Marriage so the names of the fathers of both bride and groom will help me figure out where they belong. Concerning Meg's recent Cavan county post to this List. Well, I happen to know she was working on Donegal topics and ran into the Norway item. She got so fixated on Donegal parishes with the LAWSON marriage [kind thanks to Margaret and Sylvia and Ron] that when it came time to look again at the 1911 census for those COOTE/S names in Bailieborough, she just continued posting to Donegal. The link is a James COOTES whose wife, Mary Anne BRADDEN was born 22 Nov, 1856 in Ballintra, Drumholm. They wed in Glasgow, Scotland in December of 1879. Meg is a direct descendant of Mary Ann's brother, William BRADDEN born July, 1854 Drumholm and she decided to identify COOTE families to begin to narrow the field of candidates. I happen to know that Meg really really really appreciates getting Cavan county help from Donegal county researchers.....this List is really good about offering anything they've got. And from now on, Meg will pay more attention to making sure she sends the right post to the right List with the right ancestor's name. I know for sure she's got a sticky note on the edge of her monitor to double check the right LIST before sending ..... how do I know this ??
