Thanks to all who have emailed me offline and said they could see my posts. I seem to be working at least on Derry and Donegal if not on Tyrone again. Julian, mothers and eggs are probably appropriate but, as McConkey is NOT a common name, can you not search the GV and the Censuses in Co Derry and find Hannahs and Williams McConkey and see if there were any Murphys nearby. As long as you are working in the second half of the 19th century and not the first, it should be possible to find your people. Have you used IFHF (Rootsweb) to search for the birth of Hannah to William McConkey and Mary Murphy in Co Derry? Yes.. I'm looking for a Mary Murphy in Ireland - the word 'needle' and 'haystack' appear to be appropriate! :) Kind regards, Julian ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NIR-DERRY-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
