I'll second that, Ray. Thanks, Bob. It was fascinating to learn just what was included in Beta and what was not, and what happened to the IGI and why: "Well, kind readers, in six articles I have given the long answer to a short question. Let me wrap up with a single sentence summary. Member submissions went to NFS and extractions went to Historical Record Collections. That is where the IGI went." I tried to register for the NFS as I already have a registration for LDS films but it is not available to me yet. Anyone else able to access it? I also took three separate favourites for each of the BMD Ireland sites which should prove useful. (Btw, the tinyurl goes to the wrong place.)
