    3. Here in NZ, last night we had the episode of "Who do you think you are" showing Chris Moyles and his ancestors, which perfectly illustrates this statement. On a slightly other tack, it is essential to read Irish history, as you're doing, to succeed in Irish research. It is so unique, and has shaped its people to such an extent, and is generally so unknown !!
