    3. Just a note to say that I will be off-line until the 17 Oct and have unsubbed from all Lists. Will have very limited access to the my accounts. Have to do it this way or the email box will over-fill and cause problems. There is a method on Rootsweb where the Admin can click the "Nomail" in the Membership Management/Membership List but I suppose this would add considerable work since it is not automated. Too bad Ancestry/Rootsweb do not have a "Vacation Stop " or such would make it much easier on everyone. I did send Rootsweb an email on subject but do not really expect them to action it but one never knows..................................:-) Bob CDN

    3. Bob You could create a gmail account (their quota's are huge) and forward all your mail to gmail for that period. Most email systems will let you set a switch to delete mail once forwarded. you can turn that switch off when you return and continue to forward your mail there and you'd also have an archive that is very searchable.
