Hi Meg, think for 302 and 343 the townland is Rossnowlagh. In this instance, for 376 think its more likely to be pounds (currency was pounds, shillings and pence/£.s.d/L.S.D). 6 pounds seems to have been a pretty hefty fine, would have taken a long time to earn that kind of money back then.
