Hi Brian I have details of this family . the parents of James Holmes were Alexander Holmes and Betty Mortland of Kiltole Convoy Co.Donegal In 1822 James was the youngest of 5. Followed by William born 1822, Alexander 1827 and Margaret 1830 The Holmes Family are buried in Convoy Presbyterian Church. the are 2 Gravestones to the Family.
