    3. Hi, This link may have been posted previously, if not then it should interest most of us. The Genealogy in Time is an on line genealogy magazine (Free). Browse the site to see what it is all about. I took out a subscription about a month back and have found it informative. At present they are presenting a three part article " A Date Guide to English Genealogy" which has many suggestions and links on how to get at very old Brit records. No doubt many Irish can be linked back to those English who lived or integrated into the Irish country and society during the 1600 - 1700 - 1800 time frame. If you follow the links in Part One they have a link to the Oxford alumni records "Alumni Oxonienses 1500 - 1714". Never say that your forebears did not attend Oxford during this time frame. Read the article. 3. Hi folks Would some kind person who has access to Christ the Redeemer Church Records, which is situated at Rosnakill Co.Donegal be willing to do a look-up for the marriage between Rebecca Patton and William Moore Feb 9 1817. There may be another couple of Patton Marriages around the same period. Many thanks Muriel

    3. Mary Beth, Here are a few entries that connect to your family. In addition others from same area which I bet will be connected. Your people are from Townland "Dunfanaghy" which is in "Clondahorky Parish" always which is situated in "PLU Dunfanaghy" mention these in future posts it make it much simpler for doing look-ups. See the following URL: http://tinyurl.com/45sg2aj Rebecca was born prior to Civil Registration start in 1864 so if available it will be in the Church Register (we hope) Marriage for Clondahorky Parish are included, first one is your Anthony/Mary or someone with the same names. 3. Bob, Re the Donegal Town website being down. Just down the road from Donegal Town is the village of Ardara. My cousin John McConnell runs its website: www.Ardara.ie. There's lots of local news on that site, some of which is from locals and events outside Ardara. Hope this helps. 3. Hi All, Last I heard from Lindel was Tuesday. She said they were OK. Her relatives who live in Christchurch have all been located and well - but their homes destroyed. They were short of basic supplies and petrol in Kaikoura because all comes through Christchurch. My daughter says she has not posted to facebook since that news. 3. Sounds like in French, they use "beautiful" in front of the relative name to mean "-in-law", e.g. "belle-mère" is "mother-in-law", "beau-frère" is "brother-in-law". 3. For everyone's amusement.....I've found where the unreceived 'other' sending of the list went. The STIRLINGSHIRE List ! It indeed was missing its last entry and readers won't be totally confused, just wondering why I selected those. I'll construct an explanation for the Stirlingshire list and hope it GETS there. I need a keeper now and then. MegG in OK ----------------------------------------

    3. There was one more Death to add BEFORE these were to be sent. No idea what key I hit to send this out prematurely. I've added the last one at the very bottom, #119. I hope it looks OK, its not wrapping in this view and shows itself in one long line. Meg Greenwood / Oklahoma USA. Decided to take a closer look at the DEATHS for Campsie and out of over 100, there were 9 with Donegal links. They still have 2 pages per entry but have less for me to write for each entry.
