I need some guidance on researching my Irish roots. Andrew O'Neill born abt 1820 in Donegal is the beginning of my O'Neill family line. I have very little information on his arrival here in the USA. I start tracking him when he married Lucy Cavanaugh Doyle (widow of John Doyle) on 5 SEPT 1859 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Minersville PA. They had 4 children baptized at the same church. On the 1870 US Federal Census the family of 4 O'Neill children as well as 6 Doyle children lived in Mount Carmel PA. I have been unsuccessful tracking his emigration to the US through ancestry.com. Any suggestions would be appreciated....Diane
