Without a mother I was 9 years when the Russian can to our town October 1944, deported both of my parent to Russia and incarcerated the people of our town to the dead camp of Gakowa in March of 1945. When the partisans murdered my grandmother at Christmas 1946, I became independent. Since the time of Christmas 1945 to August 1948 I was without my mother, at a time a child needs his mother most.
