Hi Frank, I also have Marschall ancestors. Bikatch could be Bikač in the Serbian Vojvodina: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bikač <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bika%C4%8D>. My grandmother’s maiden name was Marschall; she was born in Setschan, but her father was originally from Albrechtsflor (Teremia Mică), now Romania, which is less than 50 km north of Bikač. I couldn’t figure out what records might be available for Bikač; it seems pretty tiny so it may be a filial parish of a larger nearby village, but I don’t know. Maybe someone on the list can help.
