Hello Katharina, I found him in the Tschanad OFB: Nikolaus Koreck, son of Anton Koreck and Margaretha Kühn, born on March 9, 1886 in Tschanad. There is one additional information given for his name: Immigrated to the US on May 1st, 1906 with the ship "Vaderland" to Philadelphia. Unfortunately, no information about the marriage with Maria Schultz. I will send you a copy of the book in a separate mail. Her name was Maria Schultz and she was born on January 10, 1894 and died on August 26, 1930. She married a man by the name of Nikolaus Koreck and he was born on March 9, 1886 in Cenad and died in Austria on May 9, 1968. Nikolaus Koreck is not my biological great grandfather but if I can find him I may be able to find Maria. Nikolaus raised my grandfather Franz Koreck as his own and he was born on November 1, 1909. We believe a Franz Frühwald to be his biological father. They were Roman Catholic. I would be eternally grateful if you could check your OSB for me.
