Happy New Year!! I'm searching for the surnames Bischof and/or Lang from Zsablya, Hungary (now Serbia). My Great-Great Grandfather Simon Bischof and his wife Katherina (nee Lang). I was told they were Lutheran/Protestant and I have hit a complete dead end in my family research as I understand it is an impossible feat to obtain vital records from Novi Sad due to the conditions of the records office.
