I am looking for information about my g-grandfather's brother Josef DORNBACH, born on 4th November 1890 in Sarajevo to Anton Dornbach and Theresia Lostreck. Josef lived in Sarajevo until 1897, in 1898 the family moved to Mostar where my g-grandfather was born. Josef's father came from Keglewitschhausen. Around 1920, my g-grandfather moved to Marienfeld with his parents -- without Josef. I do know he married Jelena Martinovic in Mostar in 1913, they had three children in Mostar: Anton (*1911,+1912), Maria (*1913, +1914) and Anna (*1915) I was not able to find ANY information about Josef, his wife Jelena or their daughter Anna after 1915. No entries in the church books until 1946. Did they stay in Bosnia (since his wife Jelena was Bosnian), did they move to the Banat? I've been stuck here for years... I checked the Verlustlisten of World War 1, lists of people brought back to the Third Reich from Bosnia around 1942, nothing... Any suggestions or help how to continue? Best regards, Bastian
