I will be going to the Milwaukee courthouse in in the next couple of weeks. I can look for birth, marriage and death records. I need a name and date to find the records. Before 1931 I can look at the record. After 1931 it cost $7 to look at a record. After 1931 the records are stored in drawers not in books and the clreks are afraid that people will put the records back in the wrong drawer and the record will be lost because it isn't where the index book says it should be.
