Hello Lilien, My earliest ancestor is Peter Koch. He was the son of Johann Koch and Gertrud BIEL. When Peter was born they lived in Limbach, Saarland (now Limbach-Schmelz in Saarland) in 1725. Their family emigrated to Bukin, Batschka. Could this Gertrud Biel be your relative? I have no other information on the Biel family. The church in Limbach Schmelz would have them in their registry. Hi Lilien Moragy was settled primarily by families from the Palatinate (Pfalz) and were of the Reformed confession. The church records are online with the Family History Centre in Salt Lake City. Prior to the Edict of Toleration there are numerous entries for families from Moragy in the Roman Catholic records in Bonyhad, the Lutheran church records in Kismanyok and some in the Bikal Roman Catholic records. The Moragy church records begin shortly after 1784. Happy hunting...
