Hello! I have recently found the birthplaces of my ancestors with the help of the DVHH site. Thank you! My great-grandmother, Sofia Mayor (Meier?) was born 31 March 1883 in Osviacz, along with her sister, Margareta, 5 Oct 1875, to parents Phillip Mayor and Barbara Lamm (Lamb?) I am hoping there may be information on this family in Ortssippenbuch Siwatz, Batschka : 1786 - 1944 by Hans Kunz. My great-grandfather Jakob Mohr, was born 17 Aug 1879 in Kisker, along with brothers Christian (1877) and Karl (15 Nov 1866) to parents Karl (Dragutin?) Mohr (born 1845) and Margareta Noi (Noe, Noll, Noy?) born 1850. I am also hoping there might be a reference to this family in Kiskér -- Kischkeer Batschka : Menschen und Familien 1786 - 1944, Georg Philipp Noee. Ralph Pantozzi
