HI Susan- Thanks for your help. I did manage to find my Tumele (Dumele, etc) roots and tree, but in this case you really do need to have a solid foundation, ie a couple exact names and dates to start with, because half the village of Glogowatz are Tumeles! I found many, many Tumeles and recorded theri names, but after a while I stopped recording as I scrolled through the archives and simply recorded the ones who were related directly to my family, because there are several Tumele families. I'm sure they eventually share common ancestors, but we're talking in the 18th or even 17th centuries. By the 19th there were many branches already. If I can help in some way I'd be happy to, but right now I'm tracking the Meisel family. The only Tumele who I can't seem to find conclusive info about is Anna Tumele, born in 1889 in Baumgarten/Livada. She married Boldhizar Bleichner, from Glogowatz (though she was from Baumgarten), and he was living in Tipar. I even went to Tipar to look through the records and we did not find any record of their deaths or children, and there is no record in Livada either.
