Hello all, Can anyone tell me what "Gara" might be short for. Looking for information on: Georg FaltumBorn 25 Nov 1853, in "Gara" Married to Elizabeth Tittl in Gakowa. His children are born in Gakowa, and also his father is Andreas Faltum, who is not listed in the Gakowa book. Probably related are Josef Falltum b. 20.12.1845 in Rig. (Rigiza, near Sombor). Josef's father list listed as Josef Valthum.  (Surname could also probably be Walthum or the like.) Thanks, Ray
